| Jeff's interest in magic
was sparked in 1973 at the ripe old age of nine when the combination
of a cousin with a magic kit, a classmate with magic kit and the discovery
of a magic shop in town pushed him over the edge. His fate was sealed
when, a short time later, Warren Schuler moved in next store. Many
times Jeff was reported missing and he was later discovered inside
Warren's "magic closet" hip deep in magic equipment. |
| |
| Jeff began performing
at birthday parties in 1974, when a neighbor paid him $2.00 to "do
some tricks at her six-year-old's birthday party. It turned out to
be a 45-minute marathon consisting of every magic trick in his bag.
Over time, Jeff refined the act and continued to perform at children's
shows throughout NJ. While in high school, Jeff added a stand-up act
to his repertoire, got an agent and spent most of his college years
running up and down the Jersey shore performing at birthday parties,
college parties, clubs and corporate events. In 1985, his stand-up
act was award Best General Magic Act by the Magicians Alliance of
the Eastern States. |
| |
| After graduating from
Rutgers College of Engineering in 1986, Jeff began working the comedy
club circuit and at many of Atlantic City Casino's, including The
Sands, The Tropicana and Resorts International. Jeff entered a state
of Magic Dormancy in 1989 when his entrepreneurial sprit got the best
of him and he purchased a restaurant. Although on a break from magic,
Jeff discovered the legitimate theater and began acting, singing and
dancing throughout central New Jersey. |
| |
| In 1992 Jeff sold the
restaurant, but once again the entrepreneur took over and he opened
Interface Alternative, a telecommunications-consulting firm. Magic
stayed on the back-burner until 1996 when Warren, Dick and Jeff joined
forces and purchased the Magic Funday Franchise from Carl Bajor. In
addition to producing Magic Funday, Jeff is also the Founder and President
of GhostPoint, his latest venture into telecommunications applications
consulting and systems integration. |
